Tom joined Wealth Advisory Group, LLC in 1988. He has been active in the financial and insurance industry for 50 years and he has been a friend of the Founder, Jack Schumacher, for 45 years.
Over the past 50 years, Tom has worked with a broad range of clients from Fortune 100 Executives in the Aviation industry, to manufacturing companies, agriculture, ultra-affluent individuals and families, and major universities. Tom has a close relationship with his clients, working alongside them to help them identify problems and to meet their financial goals. He specializes in executive benefit planning, wealth transfer planning, business succession planning as well as charitable giving.
Tom is a leader in the industry. He has served as President of the Los Angeles County Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals as well as Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Tom serves as a Member of the Board of the Richard Seth Staley Educational Foundation, Member of the Board of Visitors, Board of School of Business and Management at Azusa Pacific University. Tom was instrumental in the founding of an upper division mentoring program for men at the School of Business and Management at Azusa Pacific University.
Tom is a graduate of the University of California Davis, where he earned his degree in Agricultural Economics. He is married with two sons, a daughter, and two grandchildren. He and his wife reside in Glendale, California.
